We've been making some good headway on the research sub-committee and have identified some strong prospects (as, I believe, have many of you from your own work and conversations). Now we need to learn how to take the next step - developing relationships with prospective donors to understand whether there is a fit between their charitable goals and the Meiners Oaks Park.

Heidi Whitman, our fundraising consultant, will lead a training to walk through this process with us on Monday, July 15 at 6:00pm at Paula's house, 157 South Pueblo Ave, just down the street from Bookends. If you are interested in this type of work, please attend!

Alternatively, if donor development and cultivation is most definitely not your cup of tea, we'd love to have your help with research. Our next research sub-group meeting is Tuesday, July 23 at 3:30 also at Paula's house (157 South Pueblo).
